nVidia web driver users, hold off on the High Sierra Supplemental Update
There was a previous post on using 25. One of them modifying the current webdriver to work with the high sierra supplemental update is described in detail in this reddit thread Another thread that admittedly has many unrelated posts that are heckintosh centric , is filled with a bunch of useful posts regarding the nvidia webdriver + supplemental update boot loop issue Basically it seems to be the nvidia web drivers sending high sierra into the boot loop. I think Nvidia may have rushed and screwed the pooch. Solo per chi ha smbios iMac 15,1 - iMac 17,1 - MacPro 6. I've updated the code to support Tesla devices as well. nVidia Web Driver Auto Installer
Performance is the same in my rig. I added the latest Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsfixup anyway but still blank screen. I did briefly see 2 Nvidia icons in top right. You have to have the very latest 10. The 1080 Ti, with webdrivers, needs about a minute to get it done. Others here will have far better answers. If you look at the code, it's pretty simple.

I don't know how to check it. But also as ever, i need to use an old native Nvidia grafic adapter to boot up. I have a gtx 980ti and 64gb of ram on two 2010 Mac Pro 5. I started with a failed nvidia install and was able to get it to boot again, thanks to your terminal guide. Are you telling me that it will work after running that? I haven't kept up with the latest developments since I switched. Currently using the machine for post-production occasionally with 4K video material. Even after getting the Nvidia Web Drivers working on 10. I still get the same nagging message upon startup but everything else is running very smoothly including a translucent dock. Just a extra render box for stuff like Cinema 4d network Render helper.

Thank you for this info. Cuda isn't working on my native Apple MacPro 5. Fare clic su disinstalla e continuare con la disinstallazione. On a 2017 i7 15-inch MacBook Pro, on the beta track of High Sierra version 10. If you find another solution, let me know. But I do not have the option to change the resolution, hanging in 1080P and there are no options for changing the resolution in display system preferences.

In theory it would make it the same behavior as in Sierra. Usually, I can remote login just after an update to fix driver issues but I can't-do that either anymore. Just a starter paket to 'see' something. Is it possible 30th May, 10. The trick I had is that Gatekeeper wants to block loading of the kernel extension. No speed testing was performed, nor was it attempted with any other hardware combination including the other enclosures I have at my disposal -- but it beat a blank desktop.

Thats because there is a requester from Apple after the sstem update installation who did not respond to keyboard commands, only mouse. I have no idea what that means; hopefully it's good. I guess time will tell. But what has changed for me is that I can no longer remotely login to do driver edits changing nVidia webdriver settings to get the 1080 Ti up and running again. Might just have been taking a really long time before. I'm just now migrating to 10. Not that I expected any differently, but let's be honest - a firmware update for an eight-year-old machine that's already been hacked to make it think it's a seven-year-old machine is rolling the dice.

Is this common or does it point to something being wrong with the setup? I finally load into a black screen. Note: is no longer hosted on as of Oct-31-2017. It looks that the Web Driver is up and running. Just make sure you have NvidiaGraphicsFixup. Although some users on hackintosh forums are reporting that upon reboot the drivers are hosed for them, so it's possible depending on when installer errors or what causes it, some users get the install to still work and others do not?. Usually I don't shutdown the system but send it to sleep instead. I can still boot with Nvidia drivers disabled I have tried everything in this guide.

Oh yes, praise ssr and you guys who tested it and pointed out that it works! Posted by: yifanlu Wait really? This time, no message from Gatekeeper. I didn't do any extra steps. I completely agree with you and it's best practice to wait a couple of days before updating to be guaranteed updated drivers. I'm in no big hurry anyways, my mac smokes on El Capitan.
